I’m so happy that Hope Station China, one of my absolute favorite nonprofits that works to prevent children with disabilities from becoming orphans has a matching grant!
They are a small organization without a big donor pool, so give them your spare cash ($5, $10 or more!) to help them DOUBLE the number of families they keep together! So far they’ve only raised $10 of their over $4,000 goal! The are doing such good work! Please help them!

Social stigmas, financial pressures, and lack of resources make it incredibly difficult for families to raise a child with special needs.
XiaoHang was born with Cerebral Palsy. His parents bravely chose to keep him and raise him.
But when he was still little, the pressure was too much and his mama quietly gave her son to another family and visited him when she could.
She says she’ll never forget the heartbreak of that day.
Children with special needs all over China are at risk of being abandoned.
